Re: Favorite You Tube Channels

I really enjoy youtube.  I am always finding a new one.  I do watch Aunties Advice she gives updates on the reality shows I watch.  She is really funny with her updates.

I watch the Mansa Queen and cooking with Pam

I watch facts verse for info on the stars from the TCM movies

Honestly any interest you have you can find a youtube channel to watch.  I even found several on Moissainte.  Oh I almost forgot Pascal he will analyze crime stories, his insight is interesting.

@cindyNC

Car Care Nut gave us the info we needed to purchase our used 2016 Rav4. His video, "Best and Worst Used Totyota's to buy and Toyota Buying Advice"  was so helpful in our  research.

Re: Favorite You Tube Channels

@LizzieInSRQ ,  boy, hard to narrow down.  Let's see.

Forgive me if I've duplicated anyone else's choices, haven't had a chance to read all posts yet.

Since you are an anglophile, you might already know this one:

American Viscountess.     Julie Montagu is a Yank who married into English aristocracy and lives at historic Mapperton.  My favorite series of youtube videos by her are "My Little Italian House",  where she takes us through her renovation of a tiny Italian getaway she purchased in a charming village.

But she does all kinds of videos, including recently exploring the huge attics at Blair Castle in Scotland...

Al Mohler,  Thinking in Public.     Kind of a specialized taste, but Al Mohler invites fascinating guests to discuss social and theological issues.  Has a range of intellectuals like historian Andrew Roberts, Archbishop Charles Chaput, economists Benjamin Friedman and Iain Murray.  Thoughtful, respectful and often brilliant discussions.

Old Curiosity Shop.     Witty Scott is a professional thrifter in New Jersey, who is also restoring his 1925 bungalow.  He has some great hauls from thrift shops all over the greater Philadelphia and Jersey area, which he shows and discusses.  I've learned a lot about vintage glass from him.

Homeworthy.     Some of my favorite, thorough, house tours, everything from small apartments on up.  Interesting homeowners lead you through their own houses, stopping along the way to tell stories about the things that they love.   Both designers and "regular" people, and there's a high proportion of really outstanding interiors.

@Oznell I like American Viscountess too. I just watched the Blair Castle in Scotland show last night and enjoyed that episode. Weren't those vintage dresses they had displayed in the castle exquisite!? The plaster work in the castle was amazing! All the rooms were so beautiful. I enjoyed the informative interview Julie did with Sarah Troughton.

Re: Favorite You Tube Channels

The amount of talent on YouTube is astonishing. The list of topics is astonishing. People who might not have ever seen the light of day because they didn't have the right hook up, look, opinions and opportunity. We choose who gets our their views. I am on my orchid growing phase. I buy them at the grocery store but couldn't get them to rebloom. YouTube came to the rescue and what interesting people I found who spend their lives helping others with their hobbies/passion. There is also a lot of junk too. You quickly find that channel isn't for you.

Wrong is still wrong just because you benefited from it.

Re: Favorite You Tube Channels

I like Deal Guy real well and find his videos helpful especially before and during Prime time and black Friday sales. I like how he always dresses in a dress shirt and his kids are cute Smiley Happy

I like Jenny Can Cook for easy fast recipes

I use Yes to Next (senior exercise channel) for safe exercises but important since retirement

I am glad that I finally have a Roku remote that I can search with voice.

Re: Favorite You Tube Channels

@cimeranrose , agreed, the Scottish attic one is such fun, a real curiosity.  I haven't even finished it entirely and I love it.  Julie brings a fresh enthusiasm, prowling among those ancient boxes with mysterious bottles, half-filled with potions.  Some of those old elixirs looked like they could be from the 19th century, and it wouldn't surprise me...
