Bridge over the river kwai

schnidlers list,  not that I found it an enjoyable movie,  not by any meAns,  but the story needed to be told and it was done in such a realistic way.  I'm glad I saw it , and I feel every person should see it,  if we remember history hopefully it will not repeat.  Uplifting end at least.

This one doesn't get shown as often.  The army nurses that get sent across the world, bond together, suffer many hardships, fall in love, get separated from their loves, face danger and deprivation on Bataan.  It's got everything!  Claudette Colbert, Veronica Lake, Paulette Goddard.
