I'm 70 and love this movie. Of course it is very dated but that's the charm of it. I really hated tho how the dad got ignored during the reception and didn't see his daughter much, just really disliked that part.

What a great movie!  I have seen it many times and always enjoy.  I love Spencer Tracy, he was a talented actor whether he did drama or comedy.  This movie is funny and a good feeling from beginning to end.  I also love Father's Little Dividend which is the sequel when Tracy and Bennett become grandparents, another great watch!!!!

Never saw the original one just the remake.  I enjoyed it.  It reminds me of my late husband.

We had 9/11 happen while living in a hotel due to a house fire and during those 5 months we had two daughters get married within 3 months of each other.

My late husband spent a fortune on all of it.

I watched both Father of the Bride and Father's Little Dividend today.  Love those movies and have seen so many times, but always enjoy them!

I like this much better than the remake, although it was OK. Like the old fashioned feel but glad things have changed!
