The series will show the same central plot as the film, but promises to explore the mental health of Alex more closely and fairly.

I hadn't heard about this; I'll have to check it out.  I love both Joshua and Lizzy and, of course, the movie was great!

I enjoyed this Netflix version very much -- until the last episode of the season.  It was awful, in my opinion.  If this is where the 2nd season's story line is going -- if there will be a 2nd season -- I'm out.

If there is a season 2, hope they get into how Beth & Arthur (her business partner & BF husband) eventually married! Smiley Surprised

One of my favorite Glen Close movies, I'll bet the series will be good too.
