I remember girls trying to recreate that hairstyle at home, and none being successful.  But we all did our best to turn the sides of the hair back with curling irons.

And yes, I tried to do the Farrah "wings" for years...spent hours in the mirror with electric rollers AND a curling iron trying to get "The Look" back in the day. Epic fail! 😁

I did always like her, and I was a big Charlie's Angels fan.  Her hair really was the thing, wasn't it?  I loved it too, but there was no way for me with my fine, poker straight hair.  Those curls would have been gone before I got out the door!

I was surprised to learn what an intelligent woman she was, and one tough cookie. I have a whole new respect for Farrah.

And she did that hair herself.  She had one amazing mop of hair to begin with. Great genes through the whole family - they all had perfect teeth and that Pepsodent smile.
