Is anyone still watching this. I had stopped but did watch it yesterday. I knew Pedro's family has always seemed a little rude, however his mom is being horrible. He found out his bio dad is married and was married when his mom had an affair with him. She is being cruel to Pedro because he is trying to find out more information on his dad. Chantel is the worse actress ever. She has been doing tv for years now with this 90 day franchise and she is awful. Her mom is better but she is strange also. She is being kind to Pedro going through all of this. Any of you who are watching what do you think?

@sunshine 919 Funny you should mention this. I was flipping around channels last night and saw few minutes. I often wondered if Pedro knew Chanel's name besides "baby".

Saw the part at the airport where he mom was being very kind to him. I actually feel sorry for him.

From the first time his mom and sister were on I've thought they are horrible, nasty, greedy *itches!

And I agree, Chantel can't act her way out of a paper bag. I hope Pedro gets some answers but I kind of doubt it.

I sometimes watch it. I watched last night. Pedro is deeply wounded by his mom and grandmother doing the "men/fathers are not important" routine. He was demeaned as a male. He has also suffered from not having a father in his life and now he is realizing his mother and sister are using him. He's been sending them money since getting his green card and new job. I am noticing the Chantal is a lot nicer to Pedro and even told her weird mother to stop saying his family was awful. Karen was repeatedly speaking against his mother and sister in the scene at the table in the hotel. I am seeing Chantal growing up and being more wife to Pedro than child to Karen, her mother. And I was astounded at the wisdom coming out of Winter's mouth. She was saying wise and supportive things to Pedro while Karen kept repeating how his sister and mom suck (my interpretation). Winter is the real hero in this family.

Detachment isn't the absence of love but the ability to take care of yourself in the midst of someone else's choices.

I have been watching from the begnning, but I have to watch from my computer room so I can read all of the translation from Spanish to English.

Pedro's Mother and sister have always been horrible to Chantal, she used to react, but last night, she just kept quiet, maturing.

His Mother is being beastly toward Pedro, should not take out her feelings for his Father on Pedro, and telling him his birth was a mistake, she could have explained that she wasn't planning on a baby, but I think she was, because she then gave birth to Nicole, that was definitely not a mistake.

All of these people should use some common sense instead of raging out of control, but then common sense seems to have escaped many people.

I understand Pedro wanting to see his birth Father. His Mother shows no motherly understanding of his feelings, only consumed by her's, probably feels Pedro is not showing any loyalty toward her, but that would be difficult to do due to the horrible words she says to Pedro, entire situation being handled abysmally.

His Mother and sister are toxic for Pedro, at this point, and he should stay away from them, heal himself, and absorb the love from Chantal and her family.

After seeing the brothers and how much they look like his sister, I am wondering if she is telling the truth to Pedro about who his dad is.

The mom and sister are exactly what you said. They are awful. What was the sister and the mom trying to prove with that outburst. They are just awful. Thank God Pedro has Chantel and her nutty family lol, well nutty mother in law lol. But my opinion of Karen went up 100 percent when she told Chantel that she should be more supportive to Pedro and when she hugged Pedro it even made me emotional.

What do you think about RIver? that girl he likes is very strange, there is something off about her. I believe she broke up with him. River seems nice and I am sure he will meet a nice young lady

Winter had enough sense to walk away from that guy Jaw. She is working on herself and seems to be a very nice person. Kudos to her.

Dad seems nice. I wonder if Karen drives him crazy lol. They do seem happy. He is very low key that is probably they seem to be a good match.

Lovely family. Mom has chantel who looks just like her, dad has Winter who looks exactly like him and River who looks like both. I know there is another brother, I can't remember who he looked like

I read online early in the original series that there is another brother who doesn't want to be part of this show. Sounds like the only smart one in the family!
