FLASH ALERT: CHURCHILL NOW IN THE A.M.!

Right now, biographer Andrew Roberts talking rivetingly about Winston Churchill on C-SPAN 2.  (Channel 351 if you have DIRECTV).  Talking about depression, his storied, patrician family, "reckless courage",  personal eccentricities, etc.

 

Roberts book "Churchill:  Walking With Destiny" highly regarded.

His mother was American and Churchill would have had dual citizenship but back in the day citizenship passed via one's father.  Sorry I don't have CSPAN but the discussion must be interesting.

Yeah, that American connection figured large for Churchill-- another pivotal piece in his extraordinary heritage...
