It's nice to see the remaining cast members reuniting and reminiscing,  but sad and poignant without Peter Boyle and Doris Roberts.

Watched this show faithfully back when it aired on CBS. My boyfriend, now husband

and I would laugh and laugh, a great comedy.

What I appreciated about the show was noted in an interview I saw with Ray;  he wanted a family show that focused on the adult family members and not kids.

 

It was easy to forget that there were even young kids in the family!
