Ever heard of a series called Wind at my Back?

I believe it’s Canadian.

Im usually a Brit fan but I caught a piece of commercial for this.

@Grammyto3  I had never heard of it, but I do see that it is on my tv lineup, except that it is a paid subscription over and above my regular cable.  I see that it premiered in 1996, so it is possible that PBS will carry it someday in my area.

The next time that I hear salt and ice together, it better be in a margarita!

Sadly I cannot stream. I’m rural with spotty satellite WiFi.

I use Netflix DVD service.

Maybe my library can order it.

It's older but a great series.  I remember wishing it would go on and on.  It's a great family show with good Canadian actors.

I have come to prefer British, Canadian, Australian and New Zealand tv.

Me too - one of my favorite channels. Have  watched "Wind" off and on, but never really got into the show!   Do like the acting though I really did not know any of the actors.

That channel has so many good shows.  One I really enjoy is 'Show Offs' - an impromptu 'stage' show where the subject and name of the act is offered by the audience.  Then the 'stage' show continues with all ad-lib characters, costumes, background scenes etc.  Very entertaining!  Another is 'Relative Race'.  Teams go throughout the country looking for unknown family relatives , but have to work thru tips and clues to find them.

And of course their big Christmas event at the Mormon Tabernacle.

Yes, I really enjoyed it when it was available on my cable but hasn't been aired there in many years.
