‘Escape to the Chateau’ new t.v. documentary pbs

Just found this show yesterday and videoed first two parts on pbs KQED and it is fascinating.  

English couple are looking to buy a cottage in France and for the same money find they can buy a 150 y.o. chateau - the program follows the search, purchase and how they are going to renovate on a very limited budget - only have twenty thousand pounds left after purchase for all renovations.  They have two young children.  They have to live there while working on it as they have no extra money. He is an engineer and hope to do most of the work himself.

 

It is really interesting just started watching first part.
