Mine was not a cheap shot at CNN. It was an attempt at non-partisan sarcasm that can be interpreted in either way.

One real possibility is AIR MOVEMENT ..... many studios have bright lights and they  get hot rather quickly 

 

It's a common practice to have silent fans blowing in the back of the studio, pointed in different directions .... the moving air can be very drying to your eyes.

 

Lying?   Give me a break .....
