Carol Burnett was recently on some late night talk shows. She still has a good sense of humor and can easily make us laugh. She showed some of the really funny parts of her show. As old as they were they still had me laughing out loud.
Why wouldn't she???

I MEANT she is quick with come backs. Sometimes people come on these late night (although they are filmed mostly in afternoon) talk shows and just talk about whatever they are promoting.
They aren't (for whatever reason) as funny as the shows they are promoting. Some people were/are only funny because they can read lines others write for them.
She is mainly known for doing sketches. In these later years (at least I) haven't seen her on many talk shows. I've seen some famous people come on these talk shows and you can tell the only thing they want to do is get off. I didn't get that with her. She was entertaining.
Have I explained well enough? Now you answer. What do you think I was inferring? I will accept that you weren't inferring anything negative and were just questioning if she'd been ill, not inferring something negative on my part. Right?

Those who like Jeff Dunham- he is touring right now. If you've never seen him in person, he is even funnier! I am getting my parents tickets to go see him for their anniversary.
