New look for Morse

Hope that is temporary!

Back for season 6 are:

Evans will return to our screens next year, alongside Roger Allam return as DI Fred Thursday, Anton Lesser as CS Reginald Bright, Sean Rigby as DS Jim Strange, James Bradshaw as Dr Max DeBryn, Sara Vickers as Joan Thursday, Abigail Thaw as Dorothea Frazil and Caroline O’Neill as Win Thursday.

Some new folks:

they'll be a new DI Boss  Ronnie Box  (played by Simon Harrison)

They just started the filming.  I think to be shown first in the UK early in 2019.  Don't know how many episodes there will be.

Endeavor, like so many British mysteries, is an excellent series. There are no explosions or car chases. Rather, there are intelligent plots and excellent acting and writing. I wish American productions were as good.

Endeavor is an excellent show and I am enjoying the series this season very much.  Each episode has me focused on the story without distraction or thought about anything else, that is excellence in a program for me.

Masterpiece Theater and Mystery have been a staple in my TV viewing for a long time.  I always look forward to the presentations and am rarely disappointed.  The acting, settings, story lines all contribute to TV which never insults my intelligence.  I am happy Endeavor will return for another season !

@songbird       I love Endeavour, its an excellent series.  I prefer most of the Masterpiece shows and the PBS channel. I think their quality of programs and acting is so much better than sometimes what is offered on regular TV.  JMO

American productions cost more and achieve less. Sometimes the fault is poor casting and an effort to appeal to a certain demographic..

We love Endeavour, and I positively adore Shaun Evans. We also were devoted to the Morse series with John Thaw, and after that, Inspector Lewis. The Masterpiece Mystery Series are so very well done, worth waiting for, and blow American shows out of the water.

Hopefully the mustache will be temporary. (maybe he was reading Agatha Christie's Hercule Poirot mysteries, lol)

It was decided to try and put those two together.  Remember this is a prequel to the very popular Inspector Morse that ran in the 1980's to 1990's.  The character of Joan was not and never mentioned in that original show.  But then again, it's years in the future. Have no idea where they are going with this one.  Morse is a old fashion person. A misfit in the swinging 60's.  He's genteel with women and treat/regards  them as "ladies" with kid gloves.

Hoping the moustaches is something to do with being undercover.  Sean Evans is a sweetie.
