Please tell me I’m just not seeing Rhea Seahorn for Better Call Saul? She’s amazing in her role, understated but can say a million things without a word.

I agree, she deserves the recognition.  Maybe next year.

Hoping Regina King wins for Watchmen. She is a wonderful actor and I would love to see her get some props.

Glad to see Hollywood got a few noms, Dylan McDermott in particular, but I also thought Joe Mantello was amazing as D ick Samuels.

I just went back to ew.com (where I copied the list).  They always have a "what they got wrong" article and she and Bob Odenkirk were the first names mentioned.  In that critic's opinion, they both gave the best performances of the year.  I think the Emmys like to either give the nomination to the same people year after year (sometimes deserved, sometimes not) or to the new shiny thing.

Word is is that Reese Witherspoon was snubbed, but I also think Viola Davis was snubbed for her phenomenal acting in How to get away with Murder!

To me this list reads so similar to years previous, the Emmy's seem to nominate a lot of the same people year after year!

Thank-you for posting!

Utterly predictable and no, I won't be watching. It really is too bad the former major networks continue to be under-achievers.

Viola Davis won Best Actress in a leading role once for How to Get Away with Murder.

Hollywood is probably jealous of Reese.  She also produced and developed all of those television series this past season etc. She is making tons of money on them.
