This is kind of ot but not really.

It is so strange to see many that we thought were a certain way, turn out not to be.

Kinda sad.

Ellen stated a long time ago (before the dust up) that she would be ending her show sooner than many would know. She said she was tired of doing it. I think it's time. I like her and hope that the things I heard about her were her just just having bad days....If what they say is true and was ongoing then I will look at her in a different light for sure.

I think most "celebrities" have a private personality ... who they really are ..... and a "public persona" which is how they conduct themselves in public. Most people don't consider that.

I won't say the "public" persona is inauthentic, but it is cultivated to deal with the public. Example .... Some actors are rather shy, and ordinarily wouldn't be outgoing. However, in public, they have to pause and be more friendly and gracious than doing what they really want to do ... such as walk past someone that has recognized them and get in their car. They have to act differently, because the business they are in demands it.

Of course, there are some people who are crude or rude ... but have to pretend not to be who they really are. Sometimes, the mask slips. You get the idea.
