Last night I saw something truly awful. (I don't know how to use the spoiler tag):

it's the scene where Elliot puts the moves on Olivia

Bleah! Ugh! it was so fake and so forced-looking; those two actors don't have that kind of chemistry.

Whoever the writer is that dreamed up that scene should lose his/her job.

I haven't watched in quite awhile but they had such a strong working relationship as well as friendship. Changes the dynamics of the show. Glad you posted, I had no idea. If others have no interest just pass on bye.

The OP is talking about the TV show Law & Order SVU. I don't want to see a relationship develop between Elliott and Olivia. I think they should just remain good friends.

There was a thread about this episode recently where I stated the same opinion as you. Never wanted to see this happen. Best friends, okay, nothing more. Super yuck to me. Totally agree with you.

It's been on the air 23 seasons so maybe so. After the premiere of its 21st season in September 2019, the series became TV's longest-running primetime U.S. live-action series in the history of television.
