END OF JEOPARDY, SEASON 40

I've been watching Jeopardy and think Ken Jennings is finding his footing by the end of the season. All summer will be "best shows" ... meaning re-runs ... and will be back in September.

I noticed that the beginning of the shows still show a photo of Mayim, and wonder if they'll change it during the summer.

What do you think of how the show is going now?

I love Jeopardy. Watch it every night. I like Jennings. I think he does a great job. Looking forward to the new season,

We've been watching Jeopardy for many, many years. Ken Jennings was the best pick to replace Alex, and he's doing a great job. No one will ever live up to Alex Trebek for us, but the youngsters and those who are new to Jeopardy will probably end up feeling the same way about Ken Jennings in a few years. Alex mellowed out over the years, and so will Ken Jennings.

Watch Jeopardy every night. Love having Ken Jennings as the one and only host. That duo thing they were trying with Mayim was not my cup of tea.

I feel Ken has an advantage as host because of his high number of wins, so he knows what it is like to be a contestant and can put them at ease.

His interaction with them is done well and he appears to be relaxed in his roll.

Agree, Ken Jennings was the right choice for the job. It is funny sometimes as Johnny Gilbert announces, "and the host.....l

I almost expect to hear Alex Trabeck.

On the weekends, they've been showing reruns with Mayim hosting. Hope it means she is welcomed back, and can fill in for Ken sometimes.

In our opinion, Mayim was our favorite host.....has a good/clear speaking voice. We think she made the contestants feel more relaxed than Ken does.....never heard any snarky remarks from her. Ken thinks he's being "cute" with some of his comments.

@Terrywu - Every time Johnny Gilbert makes the announcement I hear the same thing in my head. I guess at some point I'll start to hear "Ken Jennings!"

I think Ken Jennings was the best choice for the job and he's who Alex Trebek apparently recommended. The producers should've just gone with that instead of all the chopping and changing they did. JMHO.

(Of course, former producer Mike Richards clearly wanted the job for himself, until he was forced to resign.)
