Dr. Phil show today

Did anyone watch? It was about the missing boy named Timothy Pitzen. A man came forward not long ago claiming he was Timothy but actually was not. What a strange yet sad story. I didn't know all the details about his mother and how she killed herself etc. I hope he is eventually found though it's been 8 years.

@cowboy sam Yes. He had multiple mental problems... but doing that is pretty bad!

I felt so bad for the family members hoping that there loved one was finally found and alive...the to find out it was a sick man plaing a hoax on them...sad.

Yes. I felt bad for them. Especially Timothy's dad. What a horrible situation to endure.

That mother must have been a real piece of work. Married 4 times and clearly wanted to punish her entire family by unloading the child on strangers.

@K9buddy Yes. You'd think there would have been some red flags up for her husband.

We watched. It seemed unlikely that the mother would slit her wrists and throat. A very troubling story!

On another note, has anyone noticed how slow and hesitent Dr. Phil speaks now? Also that his temples are buldging? I am a fan but wonder if he has a health problem that would cause these symptoms.

Yes, I've noticed that about Dr. Phil - speaking very slowly and hesitantly like he is weighing every word before he actually speaks it. I hope he is OK and that this isn't an early sign. I've been very bored with his show this season though. I don't find a lot of the stories very interesting. The ones that get me the most are the catfish stories where there is an elderly person sending all their life savings overseas to someone unknown. It's just terrible that this happens. Some folks are just so desparate for love.
