Dr. Phil Today (12//5/17)

[ Edited ]

Did anyone believe the young lady's story (ies) today on Dr. Phil?  I think that the whole thing was rigged, including the pictures of her different personalities with wigs and outfits!!  How did they get those pictures?  She said she didn't remember what different personalities did--but she described their appearances and actions in detail!!!

It seems like Dr. Phil didn't check out her personal background (family), medical background (doctors' diagnoses, hospital stays), etc. Disassociative disorders are extremely rare, and this one was extremely suspicious!

I found the show to be an embarrassment of Dr. Phil.....he is getting pretty hard up  to have this joke on.  Must be running out of ideas...time to RETIRE.

I tried to watch it. Keyword tried lol. I had to turn it off. I couldn't keep up with all of these personalities though she called them something else. What were they called?

Unless Dr. Phil features a situation I've heard of from the news media, I don't believe any of his "guests".  I think the whole program is scripted.

I'm surprised that Dr. Phil didn't turn her over to Robin.  Robin could use all of her cosmetics to do a complete makeover of the young lady.  This would get rid of all her personalities!!!

I watch it less and less.  That story was so boring.  I could not sit and listen to her talk so slow.  I hope she gets the help she needs for herself and all around her.  It seems most of his stories are about kids out of control and how it is the parent's fault.  I have seen the best parents have the worst kids and the worst parents have the best. I know environment is a factor but I do think people come into the world preset.

I did believe the girl but I don't think you put that kind of mental illness on display.  He knew when he asked that question that it would trigger her and you just don't trigger someone into an episode to do a party trick for ratings.

I'm not a doctor and even if I know that.  More importantly, I seem to have more respect and compassion for a mental health patient than a supposed professional.
