Downton finale: JF answers questions; maybe film?

Julian Fellowes answers Downton questions in this Vanity Fair article.  And perhaps a film, too.

Thanks for sharing the article.  To be honest; I hope they don't do a movie.  It was a glorious and wonderful series and the ending pure perfection.   A movie can't improve on that, it could only much things up.  The Downton world just couldn't be confined to a two hour movie.  Not in the way it deserves.

I'd love to see "Downton Abbey, The Musical" on stage!

Great article ..... but with that large a cast, they would have to set a film start date four or five years into the future!

I hope there's a movie. I still think Marigold's father is going to show up; I'm betting he's a Nazi.

Thank you, @GingerPeach; this was a really nice article!

To be honest, I don't know how I feel about a movie.

On one hand,  it's nice to let ones imagination just take over to finish out the stories.

On the other hand, even in my imagination I would have never come up w/the twists the writers did!!  🙂

I thought Marigold's father was the man who was the editor of the magazine and he mysteriously left and later declared dead?

Re: Downton finale: JF answers questions; maybe film?

@GingerPeach Thanks!  That was wonderful!  The last episode (when they were all together) I kept thinking about how large this cast is!

Then when you add all of the people it takes to make this show!  It's just mind boggling!  Wonderful, but WOW!

Thanks again for thinking of us.
