Downton Abbey this weekend

PBS is having a Downton Abbey marathon beginning May 22. Airing all episodes in order. PBS says they lose their rights to the series in June.

I don't know if all PBS stations will be airing the series.

I'll be watching even though I own the DVD's.

My PBS station is not airing them.😢😢😢

But I have every season on dvd blu ray, so I can watch anytime.

@deeva...thanks, sweetie. I just checked my PBS channels and they are not showing in my area.

BUT, I also have the DVDs and can watch anytime and I also saw the Downton Abbey movie in the theater and also bought that DVD too. It's also showing on HBO (movie). I love this series. Enjoy!!!

PS, are they in talks for another movie? I hope so!!!

@kittykatkay I heard there will be another movie. Julian Fellows is working on another project now and said he will write the next movie when this project is complete.

I don't see a marathon but I do see the pilot episode for this Sunday.

I'll have to keep an eye on our local station; DH also enjoyed this series.

My PBS is not either. They have had so many of the marathons and I never watched them. I was thinking maybe this time lol. I watched the show off and on so I never really knew what was going on. I enjoyed it anyway

Here in Chicago WTTW channel 11 only the final season is coming; but not until a marathon of that season on Sunday 6/14.

Just an FYI incase you are in this area.

I have several local PBS outlets and wish at least one of them would show the Downton shows. PBS programming recently in my area, despite the several channels, hasn't been very good at all.
