I love her so much. That voice! The picture I posted-how I would have loved those days when women dressed like that just to go out at night. So glamorous.

One of my very favorites!  Such a unique voice and so naturally pretty!!  Never saw a movie of hers that I did not love!!

So Upset that I missed her in, "The Man Who Knew Too Much."  It was on TCM the other day and by the time that  I realized it was on, it was over!  Argh!!!

i am a big fan of doris for her singing, acting and her being an activist for animals.  a complete package!

 

we've been going to carmel for close to 20 years and have never heard her music playing, but we know some people who know her and she is revered.

 

i would love to meet her, but i highly doubt that will happen.  i always look for her though.
