I listen to PBS in my car and today they played an interview that was taped before her 80th birth.  What a kind sweet lady.  She talked about how she had visited Carmel CA one time and decided to move there.  She gave up Hollywood even though she really enjoyed singing and movie making, but she decided it was someone elses turn.  She loved working with the SPCA  and at one time had 30 dogs .  Of course it sounded like she had a mansion where she had everything set up to make the dogs happy and comfortable.  She was so humble.  It was a sweet interview. Her favorite songs to sing were love songs. She enjoyed making every movie.

I love the Rock Hudson films, but will miss “The Man Who Knew Too Much.”  I always watch it when it’s on tv.
