Does anyone use the Directv app? Channels missing.

Does anyone use the Directv app here? We have DTV via satellite and the app is free with our subscription to the TV service. I would use the app to watch everything while my husband watched the big TV. I deliberately have kept the original version of the app because it' was giving me everything. There is a newer, alternate app called directv stream supreme. Lots of complaints about this newer app. Today, I noticed there were many channels gone from the watch live part of the app. No QVC on channel 317 in HD. Just QVC on 245. No HSN at all. I had read some articles about the sale of Directv, with AT&T retaining only a portion of ownership. I'm guessing this has to do with tcutbacks. or negations. Maybe it's about getting people to migrate to the other version of the app. Any thoughts from those of you with the original app?
