I've seen some disaster shows and movies, but they stay in my mind. They aren't enjoyable.
I would much rather watch something I enjoy.

I agree with you! I'm very sensitive to what I watch and easily disturbed. I cannot watch missing person or kidnapping themed shows. I like Outlander for the story, but the violence puts me off. Things stay in my mind too.

I feel the same way. I call them doomsday movies. Same old boring violence repeated over and over and over! They leave me with a sense of hopelessnes feeling. War movies are the same. I want to watch a movie that is entertaining and either leaves me with a good feeling or is informative. I want to be entertained - not depressed and have a negative feeling that I cannot shake!

No bully shows, no hostage, no victims, I'm so tired of people hurting people &/or animals. Ater all, they are just shorter people with fur.

I don't care for those types of shows either.

I like them.

I hate them. When I go to a movie I want to see something that is entertaining and/or uplifitng. If I want to be sad or scared I'll watch the news.
