I found this on Hulu and thought it was the most boring show but I kept watching a few episodes and suddenly I was addicted. Now I cannot stop watching. It is cute and funny and almost relaxing and comforting. With all that is going on in the world it is like balm for your tired and worried brain.

Loved Doc Martin! It bounced around some on the schedule but there was a good span of time that it was on PBS every Thursday night. I never missed a show! Just this past Thursday I was searching for something to watch and I told my husband how much I missed the good ole days when I looked forward to having a date with Doc Martin.

I think I cancelled my Hulu, recently, (I know I meant to, can't even recall if I did!), because I was no longer using it. But if that's the case, I must have it through end of January because it let me in last night. I'll check out Doc Martin; I could use some "balm for the soul" alright! I may have to reinstate Hulu, if I like it.

We get it on PBS. The actor that plays Doc Martin was in the third Nativity and was Jeremy Sheperd. Or as Mr. Poppy calls him-German Sheperd.

I miss Doc Martin. I had read they were going to do one more season before they ended the series. Unfortunately that was right around when the virus hit.

I watched it all through to the final episode on PBS and now after about two years of not seeing it started all over again on Ovation which we have on Spectrum cable. Wonderful!
Hope they do the final season at some point.

We to watched Doc Martin on PBS and I just saw it was starting on Ovation as well. Loved that show. The actors are very busy elsewhere too and we see them frequently in other shows.

When Doc Martin went off the air, we watched all the repeats more than once. There were many episodes that we never got to watch, since the series was cancelled in the U.S. There will never be another program like it.
DARN!

So glad others like this show too. I love how honest he is. I would love to have a day where I could be like him and say exactly what I felt. That will never happen so I live through him. There was one episode where he was referring a woman to a specialist for infertility. She was sitting right there and he said to the specialist that she was a 37 year old woman but looked much older. I laughed and laughed because can you imagine your doctor saying that in front of you....I think you would have to be Brittish to get away with it....oh well only Doc Martin...

@chiclet I always enjoyed Doc Martin when he was on PBS. I especially enjoyed the show where Doc was treating his patient for cancer and could not assure the family there was a cure. The family kidnapped Doc Martin and brought him to their rural country farm and held him armed with a shotgun. Doc's friends who came to recapture Doc were scared away and finally some were able to free the doc with the help of doc's wife.
