Do You remember Elvis singing "I don't have a Wooden Heart"

I went to a violin recital the other night and heard what sounded very like the Elvis song. Does anyone know what the original classic was called. Like most popular songs I believe it was taken from a classic.

I "think" it's from the movie GI Blues, filmed while in the service. Juliet Prowse, the beautiful actress co starred. Love Elvis, love the song......
