Do You Like Spooky/ scary/ bloody Movies?

Yes or no?

I have to say no for myself.

I do not like violence,  like chain saw killers or the like....and, I do not believe in ghosts or para normal so I find those movies lame.

And You?

Depends-a good thriller (detective, espionage and the like) can be scary.  I find shows such as Criminal Minds scary in terms of the workings in the minds of the psychopaths.

Most "horror" movies are not based in reality so they do not get to me.

Movies that scare the daylights out of you, yes.  Bloody movies, no.

Yes, but the older movies are better that what they call a scary movie today.

Horror movies from the 60' thru the 80's were pretty good.

Anybody remember Burnt Offerings with Karen Black?  I saw that as a kid and that was scary!

I like action packed thrillers that leave you on the edge of your seat wondering what's going to happen next. Example: The Fast & Furious series or The Transporter.

Re: Do You Like Spooky/ scary/ bloody Movies?

NOPE!  I don't need to subject myself to that sort of excitement.  If I Did see a movie like that I'd need to find out a character that makes it out alive at the end and pin my interest on them.  The last scary movie I saw was " The Ring" and that movie just pi--ed me off rather than scare me. So, No scary, senseless,  bloodshed for entertainment for me.

I will have to say no.  I can take certain scary movies but there are some I would never watch.

In a word,   NO! I avoid them like the plague.  The last scary movie I remember seeing was the original Pod People. And I can't remember how many decades ago that was.

Actually, none of my relatives or friends like them either.

I'll take a good musical, a historical drama or a classic  movie made from a great novel.  And I enjoy most of the Hallmark moves, so right now I'm in movie heaven.
