I didn't care for this reenactment of The Betty Broderick story. Episode 1 seem to start in the middle of the story. In Episode 2, we know there has been multiple deaths and then the story goes into flashbacks. I don't believe Linda was ever mentioned in Episode 1. If you are not familiar with the story, I sure people were wondering whose Linda? The story was much better acted by Meredith Baxter and Stephen Collins. The young actor that played Dan sounds so much like Christian Slater. Amanda Peet looks nothing like Betty Broderick. I thought Meredith Baxter resembled Betty. I will watch next week and decide if I will stick with the series. I have seen both Lifetime movies several times so I am very familiar with the story.

the first dirty john was done in the same way.......it wasnt a start to finish chronological order mini series......it did skip around.

i watched the first episode last night for BB......i thought it was good and disturbing and i did enjoy the meredith baxter version. this one is going to be even darker than that one.

@sunshine45   Thanks to your posting it would be on last night, I did watch it.  When I look at her, I see no inkling of how Betty looked, but I guess the producer wanted this version to be so much different than the original, still irks me, but will see when it is over.  The book says so much more than the movies.

This is excellent tv.  Amanda Peet is terrfic.  I've always been a fan.  Also, the new Penny Dreadful City of Angels is stupendous.  Natalie Dormer and all the other actors are so good.  That tango(?) scene in the Latino night club was truly fabulous......hot hot hot

@sunshine45   "Until the Twelfth of Never," a huge book.  I see there are others so will have to look into those to see if there is anything different, must be in the book she wrote.  I just bought this in paperback on ebay, brand new for $11+.

thanks @mousiegirl ......it probably is linda, although i cannot find any photos of her with curly hair. lol

i believe though that the two on the left are supposed to be the actor and actress that portray dan and betty when they were young.
