Tues Dec 7, these will be recreated live on abc at 8 ET. what I dont understand is that the kids and teens will be played by adults like Kevin Hart as Arnold and Jen Aniston as Blair. Could be interesting concept.

@Shelbelle   They won't be anything like the originals, but to a generation that never saw them,. they may work, I won't be watching.

Looking forward to watching these two shows as I probably saw every

episode when I was a kid.

Fun fact is that Charlotte Rae was in both series.

Heard there will be some surprises. Guessing some of the original

actors may appear in a small scene? Must be from Facts of Life because

Todd Bridges is the only living actor left from Diff'rent Strokes.

Should be fun, they did this with the Jefferson and Marla Gibbs came to the door asking about the maids job.  By the look of Jamie's Foxx face he had no idea Marla Gibbs was going to be behind the door.  It was fun.  This one should be fun too.

Just found out Todd Bridges passed away in October from cancer.

He's not dead.

Todd is very much still with us.

Although not an original cast member,  Mary Jo Catlett, who played the third housekeeper,  Pearl, is still alive.
