Yeah, it's a little strange but he is supposed to be a cat. You can see him only meowing when being interviewed. Doja Cat, heh, was supposed to be a cat too and only answered with meows when she was interviewed.

Jared Leto actually came disguised as Choupette in a white cat costume.

It was all just over the top weird and fun.

@Queen of shop @I'm aware of all the cat looks. I'm the one that posted all the pictures of Leto's outfit and of Choupette. Doja Cat looked like a cat (and she looked great) and so did Leto. Leto looked almost exactly like Choupette. This guy looks like The Tin Man Meets Freddy Kruger Meets The Creature From the Black Lagoon Meets an Alien From Space Wearing Pearls.

Anyway, I took a look at the real rapper and he's a pretty good looking guy. He certainly isn't shy...there's only a tiny sliver of a thong covering his rear. 

I agree the looks are fun and they're not meant to be taken seriously. My post is supposed to be humorous.

It's the Met Gala.  You wouldn't expect anything else.

I looked at some of the outfits worn by various women and I just shook my head.  Especially the one worn by Janelle Monae.  Just a huge, transparent, hooped "dress" over skimpy black underwear.  I kept thinking "How does she sit down in that?"

Never been a fan of the Met Gala.  I know it's for charity, but it's mostly just weird, IMO.

I give him credit for allowing himself to be covered in all that body paint.  Can you imagine having to get it off after the event?
