What was the purpose of recounting the story about the young woman from Afghanistan? Was Maddox actually there or was that just a figment? The ending with the Native American and a dialogue about "metals"...something about "black metal" and the end of the world. Episode was very strange.

The title of the episode was the name of that young woman. That's why I'm asking.

ETA - I think Maddox is downloading data from some pieces of the debris and then using people as conduit to retrieve memories from certain people, in this case it was Bryan. Maddox is up to something, but what?

I thought it was just a bit too convoluted  ... even for this show.

I think the "debris" is bits and pieces of an 'ark' which will eventually reassemble itself and save people from 'the flood'.

We lost interest in it.  Mulder and Scully they aren't.

So tonight is the season finale.  I've been invested in it for 13 episodes.  Sure hope we get some answers, or I may not be back for season 2...if it's renewed.

Last night Fringe fans were surprised to see John Noble on Debris. His appearance on the show was kept secret.

I noticed him at least once before on an earlier episode, something about repairing his face.

Not to give away any spoilers and only because I mentioned it on a earlier post that Maddox was planning on using the debris to rehabilitate his son. Not sure it was his primary purpose or not.

Not read anything as yet if this show is going to be cancelled or maybe moved.

I didn't feel like the finale was very impactful. I'm hanging without any answers or a sense of where the show is going. If the show doesn't get renewed, I won't miss it. I'm disappointed with the show as a whole and that's too bad b/c I really thought it could have taken a better direction and established more of a plot than what had transpired so far. It has potential and needs something more to keep me interested in watching another season if that ever happens.

Debris has been cancelled after one season. I could never get into this show. I am not surprised.

Why do I bother watching a new show, it always gets cancelled and leaves the viewers with unanswered questions?
