I'm a little confused. Will this be a tv movie, a movie, or a play?

I'm going to look for the version with Peter Ustinov to watch first (actually again).

Evil Under the Sun with Ustinov and a stellar cast from that same time period is a favorite. Very over-the-top and fun, despite some uncomfortable bits of dialogue.

Nope, hasn't been released yet. There have been quite a few of "murder on the Orient Express." I don't think Death on the Nile has been done before-only her novel.

Is the new one a theatrical release?

It appears that Death on the Nile will open in one of my local movie theatres on February 9th.  I didn't check other theatres, but assume it will be opening in other locations as well.  So, in answer to your question, it is a movie.

Man. I didn't realize there were that many movies ! I liked David Suchet better then Peter Ustinov.  I went on amazon and ordered that older movie with Bette Davis, David Niven in it. Class actors.

checked the library and put on hold the whole series of like 4 seasons when I guess it was on TV. Suppose to be like 8 discs /12hrs. Be good for another snowy , cold stuck in the house day. Refreshing to watch movies

that don't have profanity ,  s*x scenes, etc.
