Daytime Soaps

I wonder how many people have watched as many different soaps(or daytime dramas) as I have through the years. Actually I haven't watched any in about 3 years. Y&R was the last one. Bold and Beautiful, Days of Our Lives, Ryan's Hope, General Hospital, Another World, Santa Barbara. The first storyline I remember was from DOOL. I believe it was the early 70's when I would have only been about 7. A woman had been raped and she solved the case by matching a button she had pulled off her attackers jacket. I believe it belonged to her brother-in-law and he was the rapist. Does anybody remember that?
