He died of natural causes.  Age 77.  I always enjoyed him on All My Children.  Seems so young.

Oh how sad. I agree 77 is not very old these days. I've been watching Bonanza reruns and they are showing the later episodes when he played Candy.

Sorry to hear that David Canay has died.

 I remember when he arived on the Ponderosa wearing the red shirt and black Stetson hat (I suppose that was the producer's vision of a good guy bad a$$ which the Candy was brought onto the show to be).   I know most people will probably remember David for his long run as the villanous-- married to just about every female character on the show-- Adam Chandler on All My Children.   He was great in the role too.

I remember him way back to "Candy" on Bonanza.  He did a good job, playing two parts on AMC.  It's never easy to lose a loved one, but I think it's especially difficult around holidays.  I'm sorry for his family, for the timing of his passing.

I'm very sad to hear this. Nowadays 77 isn't really that old. I thought he was a very good actor and thought for an older man quite good looking.

Oh my gosh. I hadn't heard this at all. I didn't even know he had been ill. Wow. He was an amazing actor.
