Dave Chappelle to Receive the 2019 Mark Twain Prize for American Humor

His humor can be rough at times, but the man makes me laugh!

 

Congrats to him!  His path to this prize has certainly been a winding one.

I suspect his humor isn't everyone's 'cup of tea', but he makes me laugh too.  His characterizations are cleverly presented and spot-on.  I miss his show on Comedy Central.

Like the best humorists, he sheds light on the sometimes absurd things we think and do as a society.  His insights are priceless.

I enjoy people who inspire me with humor and make me think. DC does both. Don't agree with all of his comments, but absolutely helps me to broaden my perspective. My son loves the guy.

I haven't seen him in a long time. He is very funny. Good for him.
