🎥 Dark Waters Ruffalo

From "Time" magazine:

"FAS chemicals are used in products ranging from waterproof jackets to shaving cream, and they can leach into water supplies in areas where they are disposed of or used in fire suppression (in particular on military bases, where they have been used for years). According to Bilott’s complaint, studies currently suggest that PFAS is present in the blood of around 99% of Americans."

So, we all now have this "forever" chemical in our bodies.

I agree with a few film critics, this is the scariest movie of 2019.

Just because this is an uncomfortable movie to watch in my opinion it brings to light a concept that everyone needs to understand.

@millieshops

This quote: "PFOAs have only recently been acknowledged as potentially toxic,"

PFOA is a better abbreviation to google for additional info.

They are everywhere; everywhere in the world.

I used to summarily dismiss the term "endocrine disrupters (which this chemical is). It causes 5 acknowledged diseases plus birth defects.
The breast cancer prevention org advises not to use anti-aging products with PFOA or PTFE.

PFOA is Teflon.

You wouldn't think Teflon would be in cosmetics, but it is.

And PFOAs are here forever...they don't d
