I got home a little more than an hour ago.  The Great Lie was just about to start at 5:00PM (CDT), so I kicked off shoes, grabbed a snack and started watching.  Both Bette Davis and her equal co-star (in this film) Mary Astor bring the house down with their performances!

@twinsister ~ It was a very good (sad) ending.  Casablanca had a great ending as well.  Many of the films from the 30's and 40's have abrupt endings, which is disappointing.
