Those eyes, those eyes, so beautiful. What a spectacular lady & actress she was.

 

One of my all time favorite movies she starred in is: "The Lady In the Van".  It is based on a true story of Miss Shepherd (played by Maggie Smith).  It's about a woman of uncertain origins who "temporarily" parks her van in Alan Bennett's London driveway and proceeds to live there for 15 years. What begins as a grudging favor becomes a relationship that will change both their lives, and the lives of all who met her. It's both hilarious & deeply moving. I think it is one of her best roles. circa 2015  Totally worth watching.
