@Oznell i loved her in that movie! Also in "The Best Exotic Marigold Hotel" and the sequel, "The Second Best Exotic Marigold Hotel". She was outstanding.

Aw...darn.

She was, of course, excellent in everything she did...but I just loved her in Downton Abby as Violet.

If you ever need a good laugh, check Violet's best lines in DA, on YouTube...there may be more than one video with a compilation of her best one liners.

RIP.🕊️

I don't usually react when someone famous passes on, but this one hurts. She was a great talent and I enjoyed everything I saw her in from the VIP's to Downton Abbey and everything in between. RIP to a great actor ! 🌹

With her second Oscar for California Suite,  presented by Brooke Shields, April 1979.She missed the ceremony for her first, performing on stage in London.

She generously thanks her co-star for the award in her acceptance speech:

"I just, I just really can't believe it. I'm very, very honored and very grateful. I would like to thank Neil Simon. I would like to thank Herbie Ross. And I would very much like Michael Caine to be here, because believe you me, he was the most supporting actor ever in the world, and it really should go right down the middle. Thank you very much indeed."

@QVCkitty1

Miss Mead in the VIPs (a favorite).

Rod wasn't bad, either.
