So happy for Jordan, but also for Lindsay Arnold, she deserved the win as much as he did, and it was her first win!!

@Shelbelle  I might be wrong, but I got the impression it was going to be athletes that had been on previously.  They should already be pretty good dancers.

They mentioned it today on Access Hollywood, but did  not say it was just 4 weeks or that it will be repeat performers, so who knows?

Did Tom say they would be back in the spring with a four week season with all athletes?  Not sure if I heard right.  Wonder why so short?  I'm not thrilled with that cast.

@twinsister, I'm late to the party and was going to post this too! I'm thinking maybe the ratings are down, also aren't the Winter Olympics starting sometime in February? Maybe DWTS doesn't want to have to compete with them. I would love if DWTS had a season for those contestants that came in second and third, give them another chance.

And did you see how excited for her her fellow pros were?

I read that the next regular, full season of Dancing will be in the fall of 2018.

The four week - athletes only season in March is considered a spin-off of the show. There was no mention of having previous contestants returning to compete again.

Still makes no sense.
