My daddy always had such a crush on her! She was a beautiful woman. I love to watch her movies and listen to her songs even now.

I feel so sad as I hear that Doris Day has passed.  I admired her dedication and work for animals, and I feel certain that she is being greeted at the Bridge by every living thing.  I remember her as an actress, but more importantly as someone who spoke and acted on behalf of those who could not speak for themselves.  RIP Doris.  Much of my family is there to greet you.

Over the weekend I was just talking about movie stars as they get older and you don't hear about them anymore.  Doris Day was one I mentioned.  I really liked all her movies, the way she dressed and she had a great voice.

Just saw this and, like all of you, felt sad at her passing.

Seemed such a beautiful soul wrapped in a beautiful package.

Loved all her movies...so much talent!  And, an animal advocate extrodinare.

Calamity Jane was my favorite movie--and as an animal lover, I admired her for helping those less fortunate.
