Re: Country song dancing for Applebee's commercial

I like the commercial - I don't like Applebees.

TV commercials are not something I have ever liked, although necessary to pay the network bills. The only commercials that ever interested me were the "special" ones for SuperBowl, usually the Budweiser ads being my favorite.  But have not streamed/watched SuperBowl last couple years.

I have never liked commercials, either. I was raised in the vcr days, when fast-forwarding became an option.

At a recent family event, one of my uncles had a  full dvd of commercials from the 1950s and/or 1960s.

There were many commercials for toys and cereals (directed at children, no doubt). The ones for household and personal products seemed so much cuter and more imaginative than the commercials I have seen on television in recent years.

One of the most annoying commercials I've seen in a while.

I Change the channel every time it comes on.

I have seen it once or twice. Just another commercial for the Tik-Tok age we live in.

I'm not saying there is anything particularly unappealing about it; it's just not for me. Tik-Tok is very popular, so there is something for everyone, as it should be. I get enough of Tik-Tok in encouraging my kids to find other things to do.

There is only one commercial on TV that makes me mute.
The one with the different lines of chili peppers.
If you've seen it, you the know the one I'm talking about.
People dancing, singing and looking happy has never irked me.

The commercial is cute.  I don't care so much about the dancing but the music just puts me in an automatic feel good type of mood.

BTW, we ate there yesterday and it wasn't very good.  I think they were short-staffed because we only saw our waitress three times (placing our order, bringing the check and then bringing back the credit card receipt to sign.  Our food was cold and I'm assuming it was plated and took awhile for somebody to bring it to us.

Re: Country song dancing for Applebee's commercial

One of the few commercials I actually look forward to seeing!

Although I seem to be out of my country music phase (ran for about 12 years from 1995 to 2007 or so), I get a kick out of this song.  And the dancing is great!

We don't have an Applebees on island and I only went to one once on the mainland.  Can't say I was very impressed.  I guess I should have had an Oreo cookie shake!

The former and current and still "MrsSweetieBear".
