I'm not familiar with Mr. Burton's performances.  What is it about him that makes you want him to be the permanent host?

Re: Cooper Earns Lowest Jeopardy Ratings In History!

I think Ken Jennings was most popular because Jeopardy fans were curious to see how he'd do. Although no one can truly replace Alex Trebec, I think a couple of guest hosts did well. One is the current guest host, Buzzy Cohen. He's polished and articulate. He could tone it down a tiny bit but he's good. He doesn't hesitate to tell contestants whether they're right or wrong. The show's producer was also very good. He, too, showed what a good quiz show host can do. The rest...MEH.

I've only seen a couple shows of each host, but I think they all have done

a good job. I didn't expect to like Cooper, but I think he did just fine.

What a sad review to read about yourself - that you have the lowest

Jeoopardy rating in history.

If I had to pick a favorite so far - Buzzy.

I am really likeing the shows with Buzzy Cohen, he seems like a very good fit for the hosting job

I think AC went into the gig knowing there might be blowback because of his CNN job.  He'll move on.

I watched Jeopardy last night (Thurs.) and saw Buzzy. Can someone tell me who he is or what he does? Couldn't look him up last night as I didn't get the last name. Honestly, he is the worst host yet, even Cooper A. did better. They could have made a better selection for a Tournament of Champions host. Someone with a little more on the ball.

[ Edited ]

I am now officially on team Buzzy.

Love how he interacts with contestants, moves the show along and reads the questions.

I hope he gets the permanent hosting gig.

Buzzy isn’t bad at all.  Not my number one, but he keeps things moving.

I still don't understand what Anderson Cooper did that was so bad.... I thought he was a good host - no different from the others - (except Dr. Oz)....  Anderson has a nice personality and did just fine IMO.....  I don't "get" the gay factor.... Lots of TV people are gay and lots are not.  I just don't get it.....

BTW - Anderson't son Wyatt is just the cutest thing.  He is so proud of him and I'll bet he is a great daddy too.....That boy is going to have a great life.....

@sophiamarieI didn't know that Cooper being gay mattered.  Methinks the former contestant is gay too.  Who cares?  Gloria Vanderbilt (mother) doesn't mind if he's gay why should anyone else?  What a silly criteria.

Don't tell that to his wife and kids.  We don't want to disillusion them on a mere "thought", do we?  SMH.  Woman Frustrated
