Concerts You Would Have Loved To See

Of cource you can still see concerts.  My issue is I will NOT do a standing only venu.  I will not drive two states over.  Some I loved have retired.

I will say that my first concert was in high school and it was Jimmy Hendrix;  he was wonderful!  We reared children, and had little concert info; no internet or cells in those days.

My misses:

Pink Floyd

Bon Jovi

Fleetwood Mac

Elton John

Queen to experience Eddie Mercury

Garth Brooks

Re: Concerts You Would Have Loved To See

The thrill beyond my wildest dreams was seeing Van Cliburn play.

We saw the Stones 3 times, Black Eyed Peas, Creedence , Nitty Gritty Dirt Band and some others, Buble, Doc Severinsen, and etc.  But honestly I never wanted to go to many especially after went to Journey and was deaf for 3 days.  But got to hear Steve Perry!

Too loud, too many people, when you can be home and have great speakers!

How I wish the great Janis Joplin had lived a bit longer, would have loved to see her!

Re: Concerts You Would Have Loved To See

Concerts I'd like to see are Garth Brooks and Taylor Swift.

Some of the best ones I've attended were Clint Black, Wynonna Judd, Huey Lewis & the News, Rick Springfield, KC & the Sunshine Band, and The Statler Brothers.

Re: Concerts You Would Have Loved To See

I saw Linda Rondstadt, Little river band, the Doobie brothers, the Beach Boys, Michael Bolton, Diana Ross,  those are the only ones I remember. I wish I would have seen Elvis but I was kind of young when he was popular and it wasn't my thing but I would have liked to now if that makes sense.

I forgot I took my daughters to see Brittney Spears in the late 90's and we took them to a Barney concert in the early 90's lol.

Re: Concerts You Would Have Loved To See

Wish I could have seen Jimi Hendrix but I was too young and he died when I was 14.

Also Pink Floyd...still love their music

Van Halen - don't know how I missed them

Did see:

Led Zepplin twice (best concert ever)

Aerosmith twice (last time I was about 55)

Stones twice (also in my 50's)

Fleetwood Mac

Eric Clapton

Beach Boys

Al Green

Marvin Gaye

The Spinners

Aretha Franklin (she was suffering from exhaustion and passed out on stage so it ended)

Black Sabbath

Chicago

Lynyrd Skynyrd

Deep Purple

The Who

Seals & Crofts

I was all over from Baltimore to DC to Philly to NY. Had a wild time and many memories!

I've never seen AC/DC, but wish I had seen them with Bon Scott.
