There is a commerical that is on a lot for the show Smothered. I don't watch it or any other reality show. I know they are scripted but if even 1/100th of this show is accurate, Sweet Baby James. These women have issues.
The woman who goes in the daughter's room and wakes her up by licking her face is just disturbing.
If I went in and licked my daughter's face she would put me on a 72 hour hold. Seriously.
I had a great Mom and we had a good time together, my DH and Mom loved each other, but even he would have said enough if wewerelikethis day in, day out, if I went to my Mommy before I went to him, and forget the sharing bath water thing.
3 in a marriage does not bode well.

This show is almost all fake. There's a website exposing them all. It's called Smother Discovered or something like that. One of the daughters and mothers are not even related. Leave it to TLC to try something like this show.

Most reality shows are fake. I hate the ones that are so clearly meant to show fighting, crazy behavior from seemingly normal people. I don't understand why anyone wants to watch bad comedy that lies and says it's a reality show.

I hope it is ALL fake. Leave it to TLC. I called it The Litter Channel.

I tuned into that show out of boredom one evening, and just could not get through the entire episode. It's a hodgepodge of insanity. I wondered how these storylines could actually be real, and how they would want these incomprehensible narratives aired for all to see. This thread explains it.😐
My heart bleeds for any of the pairs that might be authentic, because as difficult as it is to watch, it must be torture to live.😊

First of all when will this torment called Reality TV be over? These reality shows are for shock value. The directors, producers and such have the "cast" over do it on purpose. Similar to a television show taping when the audience coordinator signals you to clap, stomp, and whistle, again, and again. Its so obvious that everything we view is staged, cut, and overdone. I haven't watched this particular show but I've seen the mom acting absurd on the clips. Ridiculous. These show all have similar formats, oversell everything. They especially like to portray the average joe acting even more outrageous. Think Mama Boo and crew. Once they start paying you for your "talents" 😆 you better keep it going, or it's over. You will do what they ask of you. If we keep that in mind, maybe we won't be as disturbed by the garbage they're shoving down our throats. It's disgraceful how people will behave on television and expose their foibles for "fame, fortune and ridicule" The bigger sham or shame are the parasites that gift them air time make a buck off of them, and then kick them to the curb. The next thing you know, you're on Dr. Phil defending your actions because you put your S**T out there for all to see!
