I loved his role of playing Amy's father in Everybody Loves 

Raymond.  I also enjoyed Best in Show.  He had a great career.  Rest in Peace......

i really enjoyed him in ROSEANNE....he and martin mull made a great couple!

of course he was wonderful in so many roles in so many shows over so many years!

thank you for the laughter....always needed.....

The pairing of him and Martin Mull on Roseanne was so enjoyable.  On Everybody Loves Raymond he was great too.  Very talented.

I enjoyed him over the years. I especially enjoyed hime in the original Roseanne as Martin Mull's love interest.
