Come Back Little Sheba

I don't know why I thought of this movie this week, but I am going to see if I can stream it from somewhere today and watch it...... I was always on my list of favorites.

 

Has it been on TCM lately?

 

Anyone else like it?

Complex drama.....lost hope and dreams.  I would imagine that most can relate to this film in some way as it touches on so many emotions and trials that we face in life.  (Hopefully, they are resolved in more successful ways than offered by Inge.)  Did you know that William Inge met a woman when he was in A.A. that inspired him to write CBLS.

Shirley Booth, one amazing actress. Hazel was not her most shining hour, but she did win Oscar for Sheba.

She was really needy in that role. Sad, pitiful woman. I felt bad for her

 

know it was just a movie, but, it was tragic.
