I didn't realize the 2015 season had already started! The 4th January episode is on tonight. Just thought I'd post in case anyone else is interested.

I saw some of the new season today. The ladies look younger.

While I certainly feel sorry for the victims, I wonder why so many made bad relationship choices and often put their children at risk. Unfortunately, many times the victims are women who would do anything to have a man in their lives. Sometimes it's a con artist who takes advantage of an elderly woman, or a druggie who abuses the woman. I suppose it shouldn't surprise me considering I just saw a young lady on Dr. Phil who believes that when a boyfriend beats you, it is a sign of love.

I had a Season Pass, so the Tivo started recording as soon as new episodes were up.

While I really do like the show, one thing that rather haunts me is that some of the evidence they come up with should have easily come to fruition in the original investigations. I can't help but wonder if some of these police departments are rather inept.

Our DVR is set to record these, but haven't watched yet.

Other than dna why could all the cases not be solved originally. It would seem embarrassing for the police departments.

Lots of times they say the police didn't complete the case years ago because of lack of funding or lack of manpower. I sympathasize for the victims' families.

Many of their DNA tests come back inconclusive because they just didn't know how to process the items so the got contaminated. A couple of times they said no DNA testing was originally done because the police department didn't have the funding to process the test. DNA testing must be very expensive???

I just watched all the previous episodes yesterday to catch me up. I really like this show. The ladies are tough as nails and know their stuff but very kind and compassionate. The 4th episode is a heart breaker tho. And they are not afraid to show their emotions.

I just love this show and find it to be so fascinating. The last episode just broke my heart when they all started crying.
