This is a special effects movie I love to see.  It's a fun film...I recorded it.

Ray Harryhousen special effects. He does (did) great shows.

Fun fact: 

This is the film that made Harry Hamlin Ursula Andress boy toy.  She was the ultimate cougar before her time.  Their son was the result.

Release the Kraken!!

When they remade this a few years ago, I wondered how they got Liam Neeson to play Zeus, because he's so good and this movie is so... B.

Then I remembered that Laurence Olivier was Zeus in the original.

I saw the original in a theater with my parents as a double feature with Dragonslayer, which I don't recommend. I love Ray Harryhausen stuff and will always watch Jason and thr Argonauts whenever it's on. You just can't beat a good claymation skeleton army fight.
